He progressed through various state and national sales roles, where his last position was National Business Manager, based at Mars’ head office in Ballarat, Victoria.
Following the birth of his first child, he left Mars to move his new family back to Queensland, and in 1998 he joined Brosnan Golf Australia as National Sales & Marketing Manager. In 2000 he accepted an opportunity to be the Director of Sales & Marketing with the iconic Australian clothing company Driza-Bone, where he engineered a cultural change and market re-positioning from an oilskin manufacturer to a lifestyle apparel brand.
In 2006, following the purchase of Driza-Bone by new owners, Nick pursued a career change in Human Resources Consulting and Executive Search and Selection. He has since gained significant experience recruiting senior executives, professionals and key personnel across a variety of industries and position types, as well as providing strategic HR and management consulting services. As a Director of HMC he is dedicated to adding value to organisations seeking best fit for critical roles, or requiring independent strategic HR services. Married with three children, Nick plays guitar, sings in the shower, and enjoys a variety of sports including golf, rugby, cricket and tennis. He is also a rugby coach at Ashgrove GPS in the Brisbane Junior Rugby Union.
